TotalEnergies AERO DM 20W-60 is an ashless dispersive multigrade aviation lubricant for aircraft piston engines operating under severe and very severe conditions. Its SAE 20W-60 viscosity grade is intended for year-round use across a wide range of climatic conditions.

  • High-viscosity-index formulation for multigrade performance.
  • Dispersant properties designed to help maintain engine cleanliness.
  • Low-temperature flow characteristics for prompt lubrication in cold conditions.
  • Designed to provide oxidation and corrosion resistance.
  • Contains an anti-wear additive equivalent in function to Textron Lycoming LW 16702; the manufacturer states that a separate addition of this additive is not required when using AERO DM 20W-60.

Manufacturer-listed references include SAE J1899, FAA AD 80-04-03 R2 and AVCO Lycoming 301F. Always confirm the required oil grade and applicable references against the current engine manufacturer documentation and approved maintenance data before use.
