The MS21042-L6 is an all-metal hex stop nut with a 3/8-24 thread. It is a compact, shorter-profile alternative to the AN363-style nut while providing the same tensile-strength capability stated for the MS21042 series.

This -L variant is supplied with a dark-grey dry-film lubricant. The MS21042 series is intended for elevated-temperature installations, with the supplied source stating suitability for temperatures up to 450°F.
