The RAMI AV-532 is a receive-only VOR/LOC/GS navigation antenna for airborne navigation receiver installations. Manufactured as part number AV-532, it is designated FAA TSO-C40c.

Its tapered, ground high-strength 17-7PH stainless-steel elements are designed to withstand vibration and wind loads. Weather-sealed, compression-moulded Bakelite insulators incorporate the mounting holes, and the antenna may be installed with the V oriented forward or aft.

  • Frequency range: 108–118 MHz and 328–336 MHz
  • Nominal impedance: 50 ohms
  • Nominal VSWR: 2.0:1 maximum
  • Radiation pattern: omnidirectional
  • Width across tips: approximately 806 mm
  • Maximum antenna weight: approximately 0.31 kg
  • Connection: threaded studs for a transmission-line assembly with integral balun transformer

The AV-532 is supplied without the transmission-line assembly and integral balun transformer. Confirm installation requirements and applicable aircraft documentation before fitment.
