Eaton Aeroquip AE546-8 is a bulk high-pressure PTFE hose with an integral braided polyester chafe guard. Sold by the foot, it is intended for use where the specified AE546-8 hose is required.

The integral polyester braid is designed to provide chafe resistance while maintaining hose flexibility. Eaton identifies the AE546 series as an AE246 PTFE hose configuration with integral polyester chafe protection.
