Garmin documents the GDL 50 as providing dual-band ADS-B In traffic reception on 978 MHz and 1090 MHz, together with FIS-B weather reception, GPS position data and backup aircraft attitude information for selected compatible Garmin portable devices, displays and mobile applications. Data can be shared through Bluetooth wireless technology or supported hardwired connections.
