The Garmin GTR 205 is a panel-mount VHF COMM radio supplied here as a previously installed Standard Kit. It provides a modern communication-radio solution with a sunlight-readable colour display, active and standby frequency presentation, and an intuitive Garmin control layout.

The GTR 205 supports pilot-selectable 25 kHz or 8.33 kHz channel spacing for international operating environments. Standby-frequency monitoring allows a second COMM frequency to be monitored while the active frequency remains selected. Garmin also describes a worldwide frequency database and frequency recall functions for efficient radio tuning.
