Aeroquip 491-series reusable hose fitting supplied as one piece under Roctexo part number RX1-491-4.

This fitting has a 1/4 in (6.35 mm) tube size and 7/16-20 thread. The 491-series design uses a three-piece construction comprising an AN818-style nut, externally threaded 37° nipple and internally threaded hose socket.

Overview

Aeroquip 491 hose fittings consist of an AN818 style nut, an externally threaded 37 nipple and an internally threaded hose socket. Fittings of sizes 3 through 6 have nuts and nipples of cadmium plated steel. Nuts and nipples for size 8 and larger are of anodized aluminum. Fittings conform to MS24587.
