WEST SYSTEM 406 Colloidal Silica is an off-white epoxy thickening additive supplied in a 5.5 oz (approximately 156 g) pack. Manufacturer part number: 323618.

Designed to control the viscosity of mixed epoxy, 406 helps reduce runoff in vertical and overhead joints. It produces a smooth mixture suited to general bonding and filleting work. When used with other fillers, it may help improve the strength, abrasion resistance and consistency of epoxy fairing compounds.
