Stratoflex 156-3 is a lightweight, medium-pressure hose supplied by the foot for aerospace maintenance and hose-assembly requirements.

  • Listed working pressure: 103.4 bar for fuel, oil and hydraulic service

  • Minimum bend radius: 44.5 mm
  • Temperature range: -55°C to +149°C

Stratoflex 156-series literature describes a seamless HSP elastomer tube with one-and-a-half corrosion-resistant steel-wire braid reinforcement. The series is intended for medium-pressure service with petroleum-based oils, JP fuels, aviation gasoline, specified aviation lubricants, and many synthetic-base fluids.

The 156 series is stated to meet the dimensional requirements and meet or exceed the functional requirements of MIL-H-83797. Confirm hose length, end fitting selection, installation method and system suitability against the applicable approved maintenance data before use.
