LOCTITE® 242 is a blue, medium-strength anaerobic threadlocker for locking and sealing threaded metal fasteners where normal disassembly with standard hand tools is required.

The thixotropic, medium-viscosity formulation is designed to help minimise product migration after application. Suitable for maintenance and assembly tasks involving brass, steel and stainless-steel threaded fasteners, subject to the applicable maintenance data and manufacturer instructions.
