The Remote Oil Thermostat Kit helps manage oil circulation through an oil cooler during engine warm-up and normal operating temperatures. Manufacturer part number: 13521.

The thermostatic valve begins to activate at approximately 82–88 °C (180–190 °F). Below this range, most oil is directed around the cooler while a smaller flow continues through it to help keep the cooler circuit filled. As oil temperature rises, the valve directs oil through the cooler for increased cooling.
