LOCTITE® 290 is a green, low-viscosity wicking-grade anaerobic threadlocker for locking and sealing pre-assembled threaded fasteners. Its capillary action allows the liquid to penetrate engaged threads, helping avoid disassembly before application.

Designed for medium-high-strength threadlocking, LOCTITE 290 cures when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air. It is also intended for sealing porosity in welds, castings and powdered-metal parts. Heat is required for disassembly.
