The Forensics Detectors FD-CAR002 is a compact portable carbon monoxide (CO) detector intended for monitoring low-level CO in aircraft and vehicle environments. Version 2.0 features a larger LCD display, bright LED indication, audible alarm and one-button operation in a durable aluminium-alloy housing.

Using an electrochemical gas sensor, the detector measures CO from 9 to 999 ppm with 1 ppm resolution. It provides a red LED alarm at 9 ppm and an audible 70 dB alarm at 25 ppm. The display also provides maximum-level and CO-alarm indication.
