The X-naut Pilot Series Active Cooling Case is designed for Apple iPad mini 6 and iPad mini 7 devices, providing forced-air cooling for cockpit iPad installations. Its spring-loaded latch supports secure, straightforward device loading, while low-noise fans are specified at 26 dB.

The case can be powered from a Micro USB supply or four AA batteries. A battery-status test button provides a visual indication of battery condition. The enclosure is designed with dust- and moisture-resistant electronics and incorporates 38 × 30 mm AMPS mounting holes for integration with suitable mounting hardware.
