Gotow Drill-Powered Tow Bar

The Innoquest GoTow® Drill-Powered Tow Bar is a compact ground-handling solution for repositioning suitable light aircraft using a cordless drill. Manufacturer part number: 36520.

Its welded aluminium construction, adjustable height and width, and flat-free tyre are designed for straightforward handling on the hangar floor. The tow bar uses the operator’s body weight to provide downforce and traction, with steering designed to avoid lifting or sliding the unit during manoeuvring.

• Requires an 18 V or higher cordless drill with a 13 mm chuck capacity.
• Cordless drill is not included.
• Adjusts to suit most cordless-drill brands.
• Maximum recommended aircraft weight: 1,590 kg.
• Typical towing speed: 1.4 km/h, tested with an 18 V drill at 400 rpm.
• Approximate overall dimensions: 99 cm high × 44 cm wide × 176 cm long.

With the supplied lug tubes, the manufacturer lists fitment for Cirrus SR20 and SR22; selected Cessna 150, 152, 162, 172, 175, 177, 182, 205, 206 and 207 models; Van’s RV-6A, RV-7A, RV-8A and RV-9A; Beechcraft Musketeer, Sport, Sierra and Sundowner; and Piper Tomahawk aircraft. Additional GoTow adapter options are available for certain other aircraft configurations. Confirm the applicable nose-gear configuration, required adapter and operating limitations before use.
