The Start Pac 3326 Special is a 26 V ground power unit (GPU) designed for repeated engine-starting duties on voltage-sensitive aircraft. Its high-output battery pack is intended to support strong turbine-engine starts while operating from ground-based equipment.

  • Manufacturer part number: 3326 SPECIAL
  • 26 V DC battery pack; 27.6 V at rest
  • 2,800 peak starting amps
  • 78 Ah capacity at the 10-hour rate
  • Sealed, valve-regulated high-amperage lead-acid cells
  • Six built-in chargers
  • 220 V AC input

The unit is intended for engine starting rather than deep-discharge service. To support battery service life and performance, recharge the unit promptly after use and avoid fully discharging the battery pack.
