The WC24V vinyl windsock is a 2.44 m windcone for visual wind-direction indication at airfields, helipads and other suitable operational locations. Its 610 mm throat diameter tapers to a 305 mm end diameter.

Made from vinyl-coated polyester, this windsock uses the heavier 9 oz vinyl construction specified for this size. The material is described as oxidation resistant and designed not to delaminate in the manner of laminated vinyl materials. International orange is the standard windcone colour stated for the series.
