Redbird The Jay is a self-contained desktop flight simulation device designed to make home or desktop simulation straightforward. It combines the display, computer, speakers and primary flight controls in one metal-chassis unit, helping reduce the need for separate peripherals and system configuration.

The Jay provides free-flight and scenario-based simulation modes. Redbird describes the unit as using professional-grade flight controls, including a dedicated yoke system and throttle/mixture controls. A 27-inch LCD display is specified by the manufacturer for the current Jay configuration.
