Bruce’s insulated cold-weather engine cover, manufacturer part number PA28-ECI, is intended for Piper PA-28 aircraft. It is designed to cover the engine cowling area and support cold-weather engine preheating operations.

The cover uses a thicker quilted, water-repellent and breathable outer material with internal insulation. It cinches around or behind the spinner, covers the engine cooling and induction-air inlets, and fastens beneath the spinner with hook-and-loop closure. A belly strap aft of the firewall provides additional retention.
