Bruces Windshield Heatshield Mooney 201205231252 & Mse

Bruce’s Windshield Heatshield is an interior reflector for Mooney 201, 205, 231, 252 and MSE aircraft. It is intended to provide a practical short-term measure to help reduce cockpit heat build-up while parked.

The heatshield is made from a laminate of metallised polyester film and closed-cell foam. At less than 3 mm thick, it can be rolled for storage in its sleeve while remaining sufficiently rigid when laid flat against the windshield. Depending on the design, it is held in position using the aircraft’s sun visors and window framing, without requiring suction cups or hook-and-loop fasteners.
