The AFP-1836 YELLOW is a yellow protective wing mat intended for use during aircraft fuelling or engine-access activities. Its impact-absorbing urethane-polymer construction helps provide a protective barrier between the aircraft surface and fuelling equipment.

The mat is specified as UV-, fuel- and chemical-resistant, with a non-marking, non-abrasive surface. It measures 45.7 × 91.4 cm and incorporates a nominal 127 mm service port.
