The ASA Holding Pattern Visualizer is a compact training and quick-reference tool for understanding holding-pattern entries. It helps the user determine the appropriate entry for an assigned holding radial and illustrates the direct, parallel and teardrop entry procedures.

Designed for both standard and non-standard holding patterns, the visualizer also shows the relationship between the aircraft’s current heading and the selected entry. It is suitable as a learning aid for pilots and students, and as an instructional aid for flight training.

  • Manufacturer part number: HPC-2 / ASA-HPC-2
  • Supports direct, parallel and teardrop holding entries
  • Covers standard and non-standard holding patterns
  • Manufacturer states that it is approved for use during FAA Knowledge Exams

This product is a pilot training and reference aid; no EASA approval or operational approval is stated.
