The Universal Fuelhawk Fuel Gauge is a clear manual fuel-measuring tube intended to provide a direct indication of usable fuel quantity during pre-flight checks.

Insert the gauge into the fuel tank until it reaches the bottom, cover the upper opening to retain the fuel column, then remove it to read the level against the calibrated scale. The 11 in. (approximately 280 mm) gauge has a printed scale extending approximately 8 in. (200 mm) along the tube.

  • Manufacturer part number: UNIV./11"
  • Universal 11 in. / approximately 280 mm format
  • Clear, lightweight plastic construction
  • Manual readout of usable fuel in US gallons when correctly calibrated

Use the applicable calibration information and approved operating procedures for the specific aircraft and tank configuration.

Overview

The Fuelhawk is clear lightweight and unbreakable. It's easy to use and gives an instant readout in gallons usable. No more guessing. These handy devices offer the answers to these very important questions:

  • How many gallons of usable fuel are still in
    the tank?
  • How much fuel can be added without going
    over gross weight?
  • Are the aircraft fuel gauges working and
    accurate?
