Bogert Battery Box Modification With Cables

Bogert Aviation 08M-SET is a complete battery box modification set supplied with positive and negative battery cables. It is designed to modify an existing mechanically serviceable metal battery box, replacing the braided negative strap and the additional connection at the positive insulator with a flange-and-cable arrangement.

The modification uses nylon flanges with assembled grommets to help guard against unintended battery grounding. The flange arrangement is intended to provide straightforward battery access during maintenance.

• 2 nylon flanges with assembled grommets
• 1 cover plate with rivets
• 1 positive battery cable for the specified aircraft
• 1 negative battery cable for the specified aircraft
• Modification template for the existing battery box

Bogert Aviation states that this product is FAA/PMA approved under STC SA3531NM for many listed aircraft models and is supplied with associated STC and AML paperwork, installation instructions, and sample maintenance documentation.
