The Gripper II Wireless Cable Tension Meter For Auto Pilot-Bridal Cables

The Gripper II CTR-BCWL-60 from Sprague Instruments is a wireless digital cable tension meter designed for measurement of light, small-diameter autopilot servo bridle cables. Its separate sensor and handheld display allow the technician to observe tension while making adjustments in confined installation areas.

The meter covers a 10–60 lb tension range and supports 1/16 in, 3/32 in and 1/8 in cable sizes. Real-time readings are transmitted by Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2 to the display unit at distances of up to 10 m. The display provides tension, selected cable size, temperature and battery-status information.
