GRIPEDGE Rounding Prevention Technology (R.P.T.) uses a patented bi-directional driver geometry intended to support tightening and loosening of new or compromised fasteners while helping to reduce fastener rounding. The manufacturer states that the design provides up to 50% more torque on new fasteners and up to 400% more torque on damaged fasteners.
