The T-BAR Tool is a maintenance aid designed to help remove stubborn panel screws where maintaining firm engagement with the screw head is difficult.

By anchoring the tool in an adjacent vacant nutplate, the operator can apply controlled downward force to the hex bit while turning the T-handle. This arrangement is intended to improve bit engagement during removal and help reduce the risk of damaged screw heads when working on inspection panels, access panels, fuel-cell panels or fairings.
