The Alpha Aviation Standard Tailweight #375 is a combined tailweight and tail-post unit intended for securing an aircraft tail during maintenance. Its mobile, single-unit design provides a practical alternative to using multiple sandbags or anchor chains for compression or torsion loading.

  • Manufacturer model: J-TW-375
  • Telescoping square-tube tail post with an adjustment range of approximately 445 to 1,003 mm
  • Corrosion-resistant galvanised weight tub
  • Rugged non-marking swivel casters for movement around the hangar floor
  • Designed to be weighted locally with concrete mix; finished weight can be up to approximately 170 kg
  • Manufacturer documentation identifies a 330 mm extension post as part of the standard assembly
