The #16 Cobalt Extension Drill Bit is a long-reach drill for work in confined areas. It has a nominal drill diameter of 0.177 in (4.50 mm) and an overall length of 6 in (approximately 152 mm).

Made in NAS 965 Type D construction, this extension drill features a threaded square shank with a 1/4-28 UNF Class 2A thread and a steam-oxide surface treatment. Its cobalt drill section is intended for drilling hard, tough and high-tensile-strength materials where additional reach is required.
