The Hand Shear 8, model SPHS8, is a manual sheet-metal shear with a throatless design for cutting work that extends beyond the blade area. It features an adjustable work hold-down, an arched upper blade intended to support cutting through the full stroke, and an indexable lower blade.

Specified cutting capability includes steel up to 3/16 in thickness and round bar up to 3/8 in diameter.
