The Avery EFIS System Plumbing Kit, manufacturer part number SA-A2, is a pneumatic plumbing kit for experimental-aircraft EFIS installations. It provides colour-coded tubing and a selection of fittings and installation hardware for pitot, static and angle-of-attack (AOA) line routing.
The push-to-connect fittings use stainless-steel retainers to secure the tubing. Tubing can be released by depressing the fitting release ring. O-ring sealing is specified for the fitting connections.
Kit contents include:
- 7 × 90° male elbows
- 4 × male branch tees
- 1 × union tee
- 2 × union 90° fittings
- 2 × female connectors
- 2 × static ports
- 2 × AN hardware assemblies
- 2 × synthetic-rubber grommets
- 30 × snap bushings
- Approximately 7.6 m of 6.4 mm green tubing for pitot routing
- Approximately 9.8 m of 6.4 mm white tubing for static routing
- Approximately 7.0 m of 6.4 mm blue tubing for AOA routing
