The Mittler Bros. 1-inch Aircraft Punch & Flare Tool is a hand-operated punch and flare set for producing a punched hole with a formed aircraft-style flange in a single operation.

After drilling a pilot hole for the draw bolt, the tool is tightened to create a smooth flared hole. The female flare ring can be removed when a punched hole without a flare is required. The tool may also be mounted in compatible Mittler bench presses.
