The Differential Cylinder Pressure Tester is a differential-pressure test instrument for evaluating engine cylinders with bore sizes below 127 mm (5 in). It is supplied with an 18 mm spark-plug adapter and pressure hose for cylinder testing tasks.

The tester incorporates an on/off safety valve to release pressure before disconnecting from the cylinder. It can be used during diagnostic work to help assess conditions associated with intake or exhaust valves, piston rings, cylinders and bushings.

Overview

This tester comes complete with on-off safety valve to eliminate pressure when disconnecting from the cylinder. Can be used to check intake or exhaust valves, cracked or worn rings, defective cylinders, worn bushings, etc. Specifications: Orifice size is .040". precision gauges matched to within +/-2%. 18MM plug adapter. 24" pressure hose.

Includes hose and spark plug adapter. Factory calibrated. Letter of certification available upon request.

Note: For an engine cylinder having less than a 5.00-inch bore; 0.040-inch orifice diameter; .250 inch long; and a 60-degree approach angle.
