The Eastern Technology E2A is a differential cylinder pressure tester intended for maintenance troubleshooting of engine cylinders with a bore below 127 mm. It is designed to help identify sources of cylinder pressure loss, including leakage associated with rings, valves, cylinder condition, head gaskets, and spark-plug bushing areas.

The E2A incorporates a Slow Fill Valve to support controlled cylinder pressurisation, finding top dead centre and releasing test pressure between cylinder checks without repeated pressure adjustment.
