The Perma-Grit SB140 is a compact general-purpose sanding block with a flat sanding surface and coarse grit on one side and fine grit on the other. Its dual-sided design supports material shaping and subsequent smoothing without changing tools.

Suitable for hand sanding, profiling and squaring edges, feathering edges, and producing straight or right-angle surfaces during workshop and composite-material tasks. The manufacturer states that the tool can be used on materials including wood, glass fibre, carbon fibre, acrylics, plastics, brass, copper, aluminium and ceramics.
