The RAMI AV-401-GB is a gloss black version of the AV-401 airborne Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) antenna. It is a passive, three-frequency fibreglass rod-whip antenna for ELT installations on low-speed aircraft, with a maximum stated aircraft speed of 350 knots.

Operating on 121.5, 243 and 406 MHz, the AV-401-GB combines VHF and UHF ELT frequency coverage in a single vertically polarised, omnidirectional antenna. Its gloss black finish provides a discreet appearance for aircraft with darker exterior colour schemes.
