Garmin AXIS TAWS-B Enablement is an enablement item for the Terrain Awareness and Warning System – Class B (TAWS-B) function in Garmin AXIS experimental-aircraft installations.

When enabled within a suitably configured AXIS system, TAWS-B is designed to enhance terrain and obstacle situational awareness through visual annunciations and voice alerts. System operation depends on the applicable installation configuration, a valid terrain and obstacle database, and a valid 3-D GPS position solution.
