The MyGoFlight Vans RV-8 Flex Bolted Quick Release is a cockpit device-mounting assembly designed specifically for the Vans RV-8. Manufacturer part number MNT-2055.

The assembly uses a concentric-ring base installed through the lightening hole in the RV-8 windshield-bow gusset, allowing the quick-release base to be fitted on either the left or right side of the cockpit. Its Mini Flex Arm provides adjustable positioning and 360° rotation for portrait or landscape orientation.

Installation note: The manufacturer states that installation requires minor material removal and deburring at the four mounting-hole positions on the windshield-bow gusset. Refer to the manufacturer’s fitting instructions before installation.
