The EarthX BB-TH-U is an FAA PMA-approved thermal battery box designed for the EarthX ETX680-24-TSO battery.

Its stainless-steel construction features a mirrored finish intended to reduce the effects of radiant heat, together with a high-performance insulating foam layer to help reduce the effects of convection heat. EarthX describes the box as providing protection for the battery during periods of high temperature for up to one hour.
