The uAvionix echoESX, manufacturer part number UAX-90120-01, is a remote-mounted Mode S ADS-B Out transponder for aircraft avionics installations. This FAA TSO-labelled version combines Mode S transponder functionality with 1090 MHz Extended Squitter ADS-B Out capability in a compact remote unit.

The echoESX architecture is designed to keep transponder equipment out of the instrument panel while providing an integrated GPS position source for ADS-B Out operation. Installation, configuration and approval must be assessed for the individual aircraft by appropriately qualified avionics personnel in accordance with the applicable authority requirements.
