The ARTEX C406-1 ELT Kit, manufacturer part number 455-5015, is an automatic fixed emergency locator transmitter configuration for the Canadian market. The C406-1 operates on 121.5 MHz, 243 MHz and 406 MHz frequencies, transmitting an encoded 406 MHz distress message for the Cospas-Sarsat system.

This C406-1 version uses a single coaxial connection for all three transmission frequencies. ARTEX identifies kit 455-5015 with antenna references 110-340 and 110-340-01 (protective edge), together with remote switch reference 455-6196.
