The ARTEX ELT 1000 Base Pack, part number 8207, is a 406 MHz emergency locator transmitter package supplied with the 8603 white rod antenna and 8304 remote switch. Identified as the Canada configuration, this pack provides a complete ELT 1000 solution for appropriately approved aircraft installations.

The ELT 1000 uses a single RF output and one coaxial cable to transmit a 406 MHz distress signal and a 121.5 MHz homing signal. Its built-in GPS navigational interface and two-wire remote-switch arrangement are designed to support efficient ELT installation and upgrade work.
