The ARTEX ELT 1000 Base Pack, manufacturer part number 8203, is a 406 MHz emergency locator transmitter package supplied with the ARTEX 110-773 whip antenna. The ELT 1000 uses a single RF output and one coaxial connection for 406 MHz distress transmission and 121.5 MHz homing transmission.

Designed with a built-in GPS navigational interface, the ELT 1000 supports automatic activation through its primary G-switch as well as manual activation. A remote ON/ARM/TEST control is included in this pack configuration.
