The Pilot USA PA-1160A/A16 is a passive aviation headset configured for direct connection to an Icom A16 handheld aviation radio. Its right-angle Icom connector and approximately 1.5 m straight comms lead provide a dedicated radio-headset arrangement, with an inline push-to-talk switch for convenient transmitting.

The headset combines passive noise reduction with an amplified, noise-cancelling electret microphone to support clear voice communication. Individual ear volume controls allow audio adjustment, while the half-metal, half-flex boom helps position the microphone.
