The Garmin GTR 205x is a slim, panel-mount VHF COMM radio designed for experimental aircraft. This 28 V kit configuration is supplied with a 4 ft (approximately 1.2 m) pigtail and jacks for an integrated panel-radio and intercom installation.

The 1.35 in (3.4 cm) high format is intended to support installations where panel space is limited. A sunlight-readable colour LCD, dual concentric control knob and backlit keys provide an intuitive operating interface for active and standby frequency management.
