The Garmin GTR 205xR is a remote-mount VHF COMM radio designed by Garmin for experimental-aircraft installations. It provides a space-saving communications solution for compatible Garmin G3X Touch flight-display installations, with on-screen control for frequency tuning and intercom settings.

Designed for practical day-to-day radio operation, the GTR 205xR supports monitoring of a standby COMM frequency while remaining tuned to the active frequency. Garmin’s worldwide frequency database supports frequency lookup by airport identifier.
