The Garmin GTR 205X is a slimline, panel-mount VHF COMM transceiver for experimental aircraft installations. Manufacturer part number: 010-03395-01.

Its approximately 34 mm-high panel format is intended to support installation where panel space is limited. A sunlight-readable colour LCD shows active and standby frequencies, while the familiar dual-concentric control and backlit keys provide direct radio operation.

  • VHF COMM frequency range: 118.000 to 136.992 MHz
  • Pilot-selectable 8.33 kHz or 25 kHz channel spacing
  • 10 W standard transmit power
  • Active and standby frequency display with standby COMM monitoring
  • Worldwide frequency database with airport-identifier search
  • Frequency memory and quick access to the 121.5 MHz emergency frequency
  • Built-in count-up/count-down timer
