The Garmin GNC 215 is a certified, panel-mount VHF NAV/COMM radio for fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters. Manufacturer part number: 010-02481-01.

Its slim 34 mm panel-height format, bright full-colour LCD display and familiar Garmin control layout support a modern radio upgrade where panel space is limited. The unit combines VHF communications with VOR/ILS navigation, including localiser and glideslope capability.

  • Pilot-selectable 8.33 kHz or 25 kHz channel spacing
  • VHF COMM frequency range: 118.000 to 136.992 MHz
  • Worldwide frequency database for navaid and facility lookup
  • Standby NAV/COMM monitoring
  • Automatic station identification by Morse-code decoding
  • VOR radial and supplemental CDI display capability
  • Dedicated one-touch tuning to 121.5 MHz emergency frequency
