The Microkit Solutions LHS-200-C is a Landing Height System with an integrated Gear Warning System. Designed for internal installation above a suitable access panel or inspection plate, it uses a built-in eye-safe Class 1 laser range sensor to provide audio height announcements during the landing phase.

Part number: LHS-200-C

  • Aural landing-height announcements beginning at 61 m (200 ft).
  • Integrated gear-warning input using a single wire to monitor landing-gear status or condition, as configured during installation.
  • RS-232 input for an external GPS source using Aviation/NMEA 0183 format.
  • Built-in Wi-Fi interface for setup and system feedback.
  • Compatible with 12 V and 24 V aircraft electrical systems.
  • Fully enclosed unit with 5-wire quick-disconnect connector.
  • Manufacturer-published dimensions: 93 × 53 × 60 mm.

The LHS-200-C is a supplemental system and is not a replacement for required or approved aircraft systems. Installation must follow the applicable manufacturer instructions and limitations. The manufacturer specifies internal installation only for this model; it is not approved for installation externally below an access panel or inspection plate.
