The ARTEX ELT 1000 Base Pack is a 406 MHz emergency locator transmitter (ELT) configuration, supplied without an antenna. Manufacturer part number: 8202.

The ELT 1000 transmits a 406 MHz emergency signal and a 121.5 MHz local homing signal through a single RF output. It incorporates a built-in GPS navigational interface and supports automatic activation by G-switch as well as manual activation.
